speed cameras
Saturday, June 16th, 2007Just off for a ride now that the weather is a bit better. Riding to a place called Willingham Woods in Lincolnshire, hoping not to get flashed by a frigging speed camera or PC Plod hiding behind a hedge or lamp post! I don’t think that I need to give them any more pocket money because I think that they have probably got enough.
These speed cameras are supposedly for helping to save lives so why the hell do they insist on being sneaky with the hand held ones? And to add insult to injury they are now using cameras on the side of vans that can actually swivel 180 degrees and catch you from the front, back and side angle so now we are really in the s**t!!!!
Although like the majority of road users I break the 60mph speed limits occassionally,(when I am on the bike), I try very hard not to break the 30’s or 40’s speed limits. As us bikers know.. as long as you ride safe and do not put anybody else’s life at risk you just have to give it some.. sometimes.
